Food

I love food; I love to cook.

If you are a skilled chef, you will have no problem following my recipes. I don't measure, and I substitute something else whenever I am missing a necessary ingredient. I thinks that's part of the charm of cooking; perhaps the meaning of life.

Pear and romaine with Bleu cheese dressing.

Chicken Lesbian
Paper-thin breasts of chicken served in a succulent sherry and mushroom sauce. Perfect over egg noodles. The name of this recipe came about when a couple of friends of mine, Tara and Koreen, were over my apartment and we were preparing a quick dinner. We found a decent recipe called Chicken Lisbon, but we didn't have the tomatoes or the green olives, so we started to improvise. It was very good and decided to change the name slightly to commemorate the evening of "just us chicks"...

Stuffed Cornish Game Hens
Stuffed with wild rice, and roasted, these little birds make an ideal "special evening" dinner.

The Perfect Trifle
A not-to-sweet finish to a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Maple Walnut Pie
The UN-pecan pie for serious pecan pie lovers.
